Equally irritating about these faux material cabinets is the retailer that tries to pass them off as being real wood. I’ve had this experience in the past and so have many of my family members. They will do everything to avoid answering the question of “is this real wood?” And yes, you can definitely tell when you closely inspect an item such as cabinets. That “glow” you speak of can not be replicated with paper, plus…what about when it starts to peel off? How embarrassing!
Bottom line is yes, I agree - investing in the real thing is the right thing to do when it comes to wood!
