Sussex Emergency Vets 24 Hour Service
Posted: Sep 23, 2008 | Category: PetsIf your pet is injured or becomes ill where can you turn for emergency vet care?
If you live in Sussex you don’t need to worry as Grove Lodge vets, based in Worthing, provide 24 hour emergency vet services, 365 days of the year.
Their specialised animal hospital, located on the Upper Brighton Road in Worthing, is one of the best equipped small animal treatment centres in Europe. They have highly trained staff on the premises at all times.
Grove lodge also have surgeries in various locations throughout Sussex including Brighton, Portslade and Forest Row. They recommend that, during normal working hours, you initially telephone your local branch, but outside of these hours you can call their 24 hour emergency helpline: 01903 23466.
For full contact details for each of their surgeries you should visit the Grove Lodge website. If you are a Sussex based, animal loving pet owner, like myself, you will be reassured to know that there are emergency vets who you can contact at any time for help with an injured or sick animal.

Good Vets

Thanks for sharing the info. A good emergency vet is a blessing to have. We’ve actually been twice in 2008. Once for one of our dogs ingesting some broken glass and another time for a foster dog that ate a toad and had some sort of awful allergic reaction.

Thankfully we’ve never had to use Grove Lodge’s hospital in Worthing for either of our 2 cats, but we’ve used 2 of their vets in Brighton and they’ve always been wonderful and friendly - best in Sussex!
